Principal's Message

Welcome to Rowlett Middle Academy... where we showcase the talents of all students! I am honored to serve the Rowlett community as the principal of RMA, one of the most "choiced" schools in Manatee County. At RMA, we believe in developing the whole child and that character plus intelligence is the true goal of education. Our staff is committed to promoting creativity and excellence in academics by integrating the Arts, Technology, and Leadership for all RMA students to prepare them for the jobs of the 21st century. 

RMA is such a special place because we are a family and a school community that focuses on developing well-rounded student leaders with good character that will be contributing members of society. Teachers and staff at RMA truly love working with students and families and they go above and beyond to create Raving Fans. At RMA, we believe that learning should be fun because when students enjoy school, they are more engaged and ultimately do better academically. We also believe that it is critical to provide leadership opportunities, character education, and exposure to the Arts and technologies in order to prepare students to compete in the 21st century.
