Welcome to a modern 6th grade math class!!
This is a year of exciting new changes for you! Along with learning new skills, we will be exploring some real world applications of math.
Students will be learning in a self-paced environment with teacher support and guided STEAM activities.

In our classroom we incorporate hands on learning activities to apply the math we are learning.
In our classroom we encourage mastery of math content, not completion of worksheets. For this reason, students will collaborate on tasks and projects that correlate with the rigor of each standard.
About me
The most important thing you need to know is that I LOVE math! Teaching students that math is more than basic facts is my greatest joy.
I'm also a mom of three amazing kids who keep me very busy. My husband and I enjoy the great outdoors and recently purchased our first RV. When we have free time, you can find us on the camper.
