Rowlett Middle Academy Chapter Overview
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the students of Rowlett Middle Academy.

*Students in the sixth and seventh grade with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for Semester 1 may apply for membership when applications become available in Spring each year. The induction ceremony is usually in late March/early April.
