Hello RMA Families,
RMA is closely monitoring recommendations from FLDOE, the CDC, and the Health Department in Manatee County regarding the opening of school in August. As stated in my summer letter and in our Reopening Plan, we will be flexible and prepared to implement any of our 3 opening options (100% on campus, Blended learning, or 100% eLearning). Parents will also have the option to choose eLearning for their child regardless of what option RMA chooses. Our ultimate decision will depend on the level of the virus that is present in Manatee County and surrounding areas. RMA will ensure to balance student and staff safety with quality instruction.

RMA is in an excellent position to transition from Blended Learning, to 100% eLearning or 100% on campus because of our 21st Century learning environment. This school year all students will have an iPad to take home each day. Additionally, with the use of Google Classroom, Discovery Education, and now Zoom, our students and staff will be very prepared for all campus options during the school year. RMA staff is working hard this summer to prepare for all eLearning options and more details will be coming soon on what the school day and week will look like for all students.
