Rowlett Middle Academy Chapter Overview
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in the students of Rowlett Middle Academy.

*Students in the sixth and seventh grade with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for Semester 1 may apply for membership when applications become available in January. The induction ceremony is usually in March/April.

9/23: Our first meeting was fantastic and I loved seeing all of the enthusiasm! For anyone who missed it or had to leave early, the Slides presentation we went through and a copy of the calendar can be found in our NJHS Google Classroom. You can also pick up a copy of the calendar from Ms. Bower's room (412). We decided to extend the deadline for running for officer. If you'd like to run, stop by 412 to pick up an application or print one and turn that in along with your Flipgrid video by Tuesday 9/28. We will all vote online for officers on Wednesday 9/29 and officers have their first meeting on the 30th.
