Ms. Booth’s ILead class at Rowlett Middle Academy took the initiative to create hygiene bags to donate to the Salvation Army as their D.E.A.L. (Drop Everything and Lead) Project. The students planned, collected and made the bags. We made about 48 bags which included toothpaste, a toothbrush, hand sanitizer, and soap. Some students helped by donating, collecting donations, making slides to promote the project, and making the bags. The students were very excited to know they were helping people in the community.
