About Me
I am excited to begin my 17th year of teaching and my 10th year here at Rowlett Middle Academy!. I began studying the violin at age 12 in my middle school orchestra and have been playing ever since. I received my Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Music Education from the University of South Florida. In the past, I have also served as District Chair for the Florida Orchestra Association, and taught for the Violin Project of Sarasota to 5th grade students. Along with my love of teaching music, I collaborate with all of the RMA Arts Teachers and also perform my violin in the area. Currently, I also conduct and teach for the Sarasota Youth Orchestras and am a part of the faculty of the Sarasota Orchestra’s Summer Music Camp.
