About Me
My name is Laurel Horst, and I am a 7th Grade English Language Arts teacher at RMA. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After spending 15 years teaching upper elementary grades, I made the transition to middle school by joining the RMA family in 2022. I am certified in Elementary Education and Middle Grades English and hold endorsements in Reading and ESOL.
I was born in Sarasota, where I currently live with my husband. We have been married since 2005. Although we were not blessed with children, we have two dogs and four chickens that are spoiled rotten.
