hi I'm Rachel Leftwich the gifted coordinator here at Rowlett Middle Academy right before winter break I met with the 8th grade students will be transitioning to high school to give them their gifted goals form she this normally used during our articulation meetings to high school it will be given to the gifted coordinators of the district to work with the high school students explain to the students that they should be looking for goals but they're already so if you go down to this box 1 through 7 there are goals to choose you may choose any two to work towards through your senior year of high school some students pick number for for example think creatively and critically to identify and solve real-world problems you would come down here and you would write your name number for GPA that you would like to be working with we do costumes to put a number anywhere between 3.5 and 4.0 then they will work on two objectives to help them achieve that goal that is on Pace to you may choose any of these letter to help you achieve that first goal and you would put each letter right here and right here you have a second goal as well to create so you would go back up to the Box pick one place your name here the number here and are you choosing 80 or 85% Mastery and then you're going to choose courses some students have picked all coursework substance as specified engineering math course science and then again two more objectives all I ask is when this is completed for the students to bring it back to me Rachel left which it can be dropped off to their I Lead Teacher to the office or to me directly my room number is 122 I can also be found in room 121 the last thing I need is what high school is doing is done for may put their Zone school here and then also write the choice will that you are looking at do you have any questions please reach out to me Rachel left which makes engine is 1122 my email is left which are at Rowlett Middle Academy.
