RMA Service Project: Water for Sudan

Recently, all students and staff at RMA read the very moving story "A Long Walk to Water" based on the true story of Salva Dut, one of Sudan's Lost Boys. The RMA school service project is raising funds to help build a well in South Sudan as part of Salva Dut's Water for South Sudan Foundation.

For a donation of as little as $3.00 per student, we can help a village get access to fresh clean water. Language Arts teachers will be collecting money from 1/22-2/1...and with each and every student's help, we can achieve the minimum school goal of $1,000.

We encourage you to talk to your student about the book and Salva's journey. All students should be bringing home a flyer with more details about the fundraiser this week.
