Ashley Hassler is a lifelong dancer and lover of the arts. She has worked as a Dance Educator in Manatee County for many years, having previously taught four years at Rowlett Academy and fourteen years at Electa Lee Middle School. A mover and a shaker practically from birth, she began ballet and tumbling lessons at age 5, but it was modern dance that captured her heart and drew her into a career as a performer and teacher. Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Ashley moved south to attend USF in Tampa where she earned a bachelor's degree in Dance Education. She danced professionally with several dance collectives in Florida and was a founding member of Sarasota Contemporary Dance, where she performed for seven years. She lives in Bradenton with her husband and two children and is delighted to be teaching dance at Rowlett Middle Academy.
